Hong Kong Museum of History — Walk Through “The Hong Kong Story”
This museum is essential for first-time visitors (and locals) who want the narrative of Hong Kong: archaeology, colonial history, wartime memories and pop culture. The permanent “Hong Kong Story” exhibit is immersive.

- Opening hours: Mondays, Wednesdays–Fridays 10:00–18:00; Saturdays, Sundays & public holidays 10:00–19:00. Closed on Tuesdays (except public holidays) and the first two days of Chinese New Year. Box office closes 30 mins before closing.
- Admission / tickets: Permanent exhibitions may be free or modestly priced; special exhibitions and guided tours can be ticketed — check site for current pricing.
